Gajora As the penultimate book in this series, I would have thought that this book would have really amped up the pace and the tension. Other than that, I think the plot was great. But overall, i liked the book. They are going to find the doors in the House of Hades to make sure that they open for Annabeth and Percy on the other side of Tar Summary: Pleasepleaseplease, no one murder me for this review.

So before I write the review, let me throw in some perspective. Why now, after knowing the particular character for 7 books? We have four total relationships going on. Thankfully the narrator was semi-tolerable and not racist like the one for the second book.
Percy had to face the consequences of various decisions he had made, which forced him to make a decision; his decision was to accept what he did and try to make amends if and when possible.
On one hand, when I first begin to read each book I nearly choke on the formulaic writing and stock characters. This completely altered my view of that character, not for the better, and took away some of his mystique.
In boredom, I decided to read House of Hades. I th It really breaks my heart to have to give RR 2. A river that heals them? It just felt like an editor or Riordan himself decided the series needed a gay character and Nico was the choice. Best part of the book! While I was reading this series, I noticed something. You could ask Rick himself on his evo if this is really about a curiosity on his decision and not an event of homophobia.
Nico has always been cool because he is a loner, walking apart from the buddy-buddy crowd at camp H-B. It was very interesting to see how he dealt with his conflict between his Roman and Greek sides.

However, I was overjoyed when Leo met Calypso and they quickly became my OTP of the series because they are simply adorable and on hadeain of that a very capable pair. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. All together the books end up having eight or nine main characters, which I found to be confusing.
The ot The next book in the Heroes of Olympus series. But, they also discover some reformed creature who sacrifice themselves to help the pair. Nice twist with Leo spoilers alert!!
